When you have a business, you always have to keep everything up to date. Trends change, your clients needs change and grow with their businesses and things have to move along with them or you get left behind.

I’ve been going through a few changes myself lately. It must be the way the planets are aligned or something, but it’s been as if a switch has been turned on and I’ve needed to get rid of things that hold me back and make me feel negative to make room for more positive things to come around. Since this, I’ve been full of ideas too.

As any self-employed person would tell you, charging your worth is so important. It’s not about greed, it’s about putting value on your skills and services. You’ve probably spent years learning your skills and spent thousands to become an expert in your field. In the past, I undercharged massively and found myself feeling burnt out and broke. I’d be working 50+ hours per week and earning less than minimum wage. That’s no way to live. Other people in my field were charging a lot more too. So, I needed to come up with a way that I could charge fairly, without exhausting myself or putting myself out of pocket anymore but still be able to serve clients who have a lower budget.

That’s why I decided to launch my shop and the ‘Prêt à Partir’ (Ready to go) range. At the moment there a few themes available for Divi on WordPress but, I’m working on so many more items. Everything you need from branding, Install yourself child themes, Logo kits, stock images. Everything you need to build your brand, without having to spend thousands on a web design package. Perfect if you’re starting out and don’t have the money to invest. It also allows me to focus more of my time on bigger projects and really give my clients value for money when a custom design service is bought.

I’m really positive about the changes I’m making to my business, and I really hope they benefit my clients. At the end of the day, I love what I do, and helping others make their business dreams come true is what I’m here for.
